In 2019 Steve and Leisa Shirley, set out to form an organization to support enlisted military and their families during the Holiday Season.  These families often find themselves separated at Christmas due to deployment or unable to leave the base to travel for lack of funds.  These needs, along with many others, are the motivating factor towards the efforts of KARE Charities. 

Working closely with the Armed Services YMCA at Fort Campbell, KARE Charities has raised over $150,000 in 3 years.  To that end, we have been able to expand our support into other efforts and programs through the ASYMCA at Fort Campbell.
